Can I move kitchen appliances?

This depends on the location of water and gas lines as well as electrical outlets. Generally, you can’t relocate appliances that need water, such as dishwashers, more than a few inches without installing new lines. Knowing where the lines are will help you design your new kitchen and choose appliances.

Does piping need to be replaced?

This depends on the age of the current plumbing piping. If piping is older or made from inferior materials, it may be necessary or beneficial to replace some or all of the piping needed for the remodel. Gas line pipes may also require conversion for new gas appliances. We can assess the current pipes and advise if any replacement is needed.

When should you choose a kitchen sink?

It’s usually best to pick the sink you want first. This can save remodelers from installing cabinets or countertops only to discover that the sink doesn’t fit. Sometimes the current plumbing needs to be altered for the sink you choose. This is much easier done prior to sink installation.
